I am a westerner but have lived in Aisa for many years now. I don’t really agree with arranged marriages but these are other countries laws.

I don’t agree with marriages of brides under the age of 16 which is practised in countries like Saudi Arabia. This is wrong. A girl aged as young as ten is not mature enough to enter into marriage.

These countries do not have a duty of care for their children, they are consenting to legal rape of minors.

Arranged marriages between two mature people I don’t have any problems with. A marriage between a mature man and a child I do. And the parents who consent to it are disgraceful and should hang their heads in shame.
